Tatung Company of America, Inc. can offer returns for products purchased from Newegg Tatung USA Marketplace or company outside sales events within thirty (30) calendar days with a valid receipt of shipment. Tatung Company of America, Inc. can offer repair service for products purchased from our authorized retailers in the United States.
There are 2 methods to request a repair service. Please do not send in the repair products before obtaining a valid RMA # and further instructions from our repair service team.

The actual cost for repair will vary based on the product, the cost of the part, and complexity of the repair. Our service team will contact you with an estimate repair cost before we start fixing the issue.
It depends on the complexity of the repair. Typically turn-around time is approximately 5 business days after we receive your product. However, there are factors such as parts availability that may change that timeframe.
All Tatung products will have a 90 days limited warranty after repair service.
Failure: The touch screen is completely unresponsive.
Failure: Multi-touch is invalid. Tip (Pen Point Mode) identification does not support multi-touch.

Tatung multi-functional cooker use "double-boiler" concept to make fluffy rice, steam vegetables and sea foods and a variety of foods. The cooker heats up the water in the outer pot and turns the water into steam circulating inside the cooker. The steam then heats up everything you cook in the inner pot. Besides, water in the outer pot is treated as a cooking timer. You can adjust the cooking time upon the type of food you cook and your preference. The more water you add to the outer pot, the more cooking time will go through.
Tatung uses 18/8 stainless steel (food grade 304) for all stainless steel inner pot & stainless steel outter pot.
It is normal situation for stainless steel material character.
After cooking, it is normal to have minor residues left on the inner surface of the rice cooker. To clean the residue simply follow this method.
• Add 1 part Citric Acid to 9 part water to the inside of the cooker.
• Let it cook for 1 hour.
Then dispose the water and use a soft wet cloth to clean the inside.
What cause the residue?
Water contains minerals and organic compounds and when it interacts with Heat, Oxygen, or Carbon Dioxide, it undergoes a chemical change resulting in residue. This is a natural process that occurs when water is boiled over 140 degrees Fahrenheit. If you find heavy residue in your cooker we suggest you repeat the cleaning process several times.
Selecting Rice: Choose crystal clear and plump rice.
Measuring Rice: Use the measuring cup and fill 4-cup of rice. (4-cup of rice is equivalent to 4 to 6 servings)
Washing Rice: Wash quickly and lightly 2 to 3 times. Don’t scrub them.
Add Water in the Inner Pot: Add water in the inner pot to graduation 4.
Immerse: Immerse the rice before cooking. 30 minutes during summer and about an hour during winter.
Add Water in the Outer Pot: Add a cup of water in the outer pot.
Cooking: Turn on the keep warm switch, then press the cook button.
Stewing: Stew the rice for about 5 to 10 minutes after it’s cooked.
Stirring rice: Stir the rice to loosen it before eating to allow the remaining water to evaporate.
Stewing: Stew it for another 5 minutes and the tasty rice is ready to be served.
No, this air fryer is not for deep fry foods but using hot air to fry foods. However, you can spray cooking oil lightly on foods.
It's a healthy way to fry, bake, roast and grill food. The unique convection hot air circulation keep foods heat evenly. It will keep food’s flavor and shorten cooking time.
